Interski Congress Ushuaia 2015
The Interski Congress in Ushuaia is already a thing of the story. For this, a great thank you for the organization to address to un-ser member ADIDES, and the President Martin Bacer. The parallel team event was not a top event from the mood! Which competitions will be held at the Interski Congress in Pamporovo, Bulgaria, will be discussed at the Interski delegate meeting in the spring and subsequently announced.

ISIA Assembly of Delegates Lenzerheide 2016
In April 2016, the delegate meeting of the ISIA took place in the Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Representatives of 27 nations were present. The most important decisions in brief: • The overall renewal elections of the members of the ISIA Bureau have been postponed and will take place at the ISIA World Cup in Samnaun in April 2017. • Membership fees have been increased from CHF 750.00 to CHF 1,000.00. • The official languages of the ISIA will be English and German in the future, as far as the protocols are concerned. • At the end of the delegate meeting, a joint ski day took place as well as a visit to the Swiss Snow Happening, in which more than 1500 ski instructors participated.
Visit of Chinese ski historian Shan Zhaojian in Belp
On the 13. September 2016 Mr. Shan Zhaojian, a ski historian from China who traveled through Europe, visited his book About the history of skiing in China, the premises of the ISIA. Vittorio Caffi, Vice-President Europe, received the delegation from China in Belp.

Visit of President Riet R. Campell in China
In November 2016 President Riet R. Campell, Mr. Ren Hongguo, the state leader for winter sports in China and at the same time vice-president of the Chinese Ski Federation, at his office in Beijing to negotiate a cooperation agreement with the aim of introducing the ISIA minimum standard for Chinese ski instructors and preparing the accession of a Chinese umbrella organization to the international professional ski instructor family.
The upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics in China are booming snow sports in China. Expectations are from 300 million. Snow sports enthusiasts who will be mobilized in the next few years until the Olympics. This results in a need of about 300,000 ski and snowboard instructors.
It will be the task of the ISIA to stand up for the minimum standard of training and the Chinese Granting full support to colleagues.
Currently, many ISIA members are working on a ski instructor training in China. The goal of all is to ensure that the Chinese reach the minimum standard of the ISIA as soon as possible in order to then include them in the ISIA family.

On the 5. In November, a small delegation of the ISIA consisting of President Riet R. Campell, Vice-President Yuichi Mabuchi, Secretary General Dr.Hugo Reider and Kiminobu Sugiyama to Princess Akiko the diploma, badge and identification card for the honorary ski instructor title awarded to her by the ISIA Bureau, including honorary membership, in recognition of her worldwide commitment to snow sports.
Princess Akiko has completed a ski instructor training at the Japanese Professional Ski Instructors Association (SIA).
ISIA World Cup 2017 Samnaun
The cross-border Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun-Ischgl, the largest ski arena in the Eastern Alps, awaits the professional ski instructors from all over the world for an unforgettable end to the season. Samnaun and the OK of the ISIA World Cup 2017 are already looking forward to numerous participants and visitors.
In addition to the competitions, workshops on training in the individual countries take place in the afternoons. The training objectives are to be discussed and compared in detail. Ski instructor training in China will also be discussed.
On the occasion of the ISIA World Cup, the delegate meeting of the ISIA will also take place, which is divided into two sitting days. The ISIA Bureau will be re-elected. President Riet R. Campell will no longer be available for another candidacy after 17 years of presidency.
