Through this news, members are to be asked to participate in the ISIA life and to participate interactively in the development. We would be happy to include suggestions in our work programme, thank you!
The first Bureau meeting of the new Bureau was held on 22 June. August 2012 in Zurich. Martin Bacer, Vice President ISIA, has apologised for the session because of the high season running in the Argentine winter. Gilles Chabert, co-owner, hasn’t come to the meeting. Otherwise, the entire Bureau was present.
The Bureau was reconstituted and organised. Dr. Hugo Reider was again proposed by the President as Secretary-General for the next period and confirmed by the Bureau, with one exception.
The new Bureau would like to have carried out the work carried out more by members of the Bureau, rather than delegate the work to commissions.
Thus, various works to continue, or new to the work list, were added to the work list. Here are some topics that the Executive Board intends to deal with in the coming years, or that it intends to implement:
– continuation and implementation of the minimum standard and structure of the database.
– Integrate the ISIA World Cup in the Interski program.
– The ISIA should be more active in the public and improve the “social media” possibilities and the website.
– To this end, the ISIA will mark its presence at the ISPO, establish contacts with the International Cable Cars Association and continue the Tecnical Events.
The Bureau wishes to call on the members to register further development opportunities for snow sports through active communication so that good ideas can be made known.
In the sense of a spirit of departure, we would like to urge all members to participate actively in the ISIA life. We are looking forward to your inputs.
