Dear ISIA members,
We invite you to the ISIA WOPRLD FORUM 2022. As the successor of the ISIA World Championships, the ISIA Bureau has developed a new worldwide, joint, contemporary event specifically tailored to the needs of snow sports professionals and the diversity of snow sports lessons, representing the three basic principles of ISIA: quality, professionalism and community.
For four days, the snow sports professionals from the 37 ISIA member nations and international representatives from the snow sports industry, from ski resorts, from authorities, from snow sports schools, customers and snow sports instructors will meet for talks, workshops and piste events. Each nation puts together its own delegation and the desire is that in these delegations are not only snow sports instructors and association representatives, but as many experts as possible, to whom we want to show what attractive ideas and concepts we have, what high quality distinguishes us in driving and teaching and the enormous importance of our industry in the entire winter tourism.
The 1. ISIA WORLD FORUM 2022 will take place from 03. to 08.04.2022 in the 3 Zinnen Dolomiten region. Our base will be in Sexten. Together with Snowsport South Tyrol, the local tourism managers, the mountain railway network 3-Zinnen-Dolomiten and the local ski school Sextener Dolomiten, the World Forum is organized. Of course, we also determine ski instructor world champions at our forum, only in the future in new categories and new competitions:
– ISIA Ski instructors World Champion “TEACHING” in gold, silver, bronze
– ISIA Ski instructors World Champion “PERFORMANCE” in gold, silver, bronze
– ISIA Ski instructors World Champion “RACING” in gold, silver, bronze
The main focus at 1. ISIA WORLD FORUM 2022 is based on the discipline of Alpine skiing, as this is the focus of our activity and we do not have much time for the organization. The other snow sports disciplines snowboard, telemark and cross-country skiing can be supplemented in the program if there is sufficient interest from the member associations.
All important information, the competitions with their rules and the programme are described in detail in attached brochure. On 09.04.2022, the ISIA Assembly of Delegates will take place at the Forum, also in Sexten, with the election of the Bureau.
The website www.isiaskiworldforum.com is currently being developed especially for the ISIA World Forum. On this page, not only will all content and the program be found, but also the registration of the participants by the nations will be possible, all details on the organization and administration of all participants will be available and the coordination can be made at the individual competitions. Registration of the nations and individual participants can probably be made directly on this website from the beginning of December 2021. At the start, each member nation receives a message by e-mail with their access data. The deadline for participation in the ISIA WF 22 is 31.01.2022.
